Transfer Money Between Your MIDFLORIDA Accounts

Short on funds in your checking; setting aside some savings or paying your teen their allowance, you have a couple of easy, free ways to make an instantaneous transfer.

Through Free Online Banking, you can make one-time or recurring transfers for any amount. Or, if you don't have an easy way to log in, you can call Phone Banking to make a transfer using a touch-tone phone.

Move Money Between Banks

Most people have assets at a number of banks or credit unions which can make it difficult when you need to move money between accounts - but that's not true here.

Using Linked Accounts, you can create a connection between your MIDFLORIDA access and your other bank accounts so you can move money easily between financial institutions. Linked Account Transfers can be set up as a one-time or recurring transaction.

Transfer Funds To Anyone

Whether you're splitting the cost of lunch or you need to pay your lawn guy, Pay-a-Person allows you to easily move money from your account to another person's bank within days.

Paying someone who banks with MIDFLORIDA is even faster. These transfers process the same business day.

Large Sum Transfers - Domestically or Internationally

When you need to transfer a large sum of money to a person or business quickly, consider using a Wire Transfer. This option allows for higher limits on transfers than generally available through other payment transfer processes. And the additional steps involved help you feel comfortable that the money will reach its desired destination.

Available for business accounts too!

To make transfers in Free Online Banking using the mobile app, start by opening the app and tapping the hamburger icon in the upper left-hand corner.

From the navigation that appears, select Transfers > Make A Transfer and complete the following screen by selecting the accounts to transfer from and to; input the transfer amount and select a transfer date. The final step is to choose the frequency. Then tap preview and then review the details of the transfer. If all looks as expected, click Transfer Funds.

There are times when its necessary to send a large amount of money either domestically or internationally and the amount you need to send exceeds the limits available on everyday money movement processes like Cash App or Venmo. In those cases, opting for a Wire Transfer may make sense. While there are additional steps to set up this transaction, there are more processes in place to ensure your money reaches its destination. There is a per wire fee associated with this service. To initiate a wire, print and complete the appropriate form and make a copy of your driver's license. Then fax both to (863) 616-2110 and then call the Accounting Department at (863) 616-2100 ext. 2000.
