External & Linked Account FAQs

See below for help on how to use these two features.

To link an account, select Linked Accounts under the Transfer Funds tab in Online or Mobile Banking. Enter the routing and account number for your outside account. You'll then confirm two small deposits to verify your ownership of the account. Once confirmed, you can begin making transfers.

To connect your outside accounts, select the External Accounts option, then Add an Account button. A setup tool will pop up to walk you through the steps. You will need your online login credentials for the outside account to complete the setup.

Transfers usually take 1-3 business days. However, it is important to note that funds may be placed on a temporary hold. For accounts over 6 months old, a hold of up to 5 days may be placed. For accounts under 6 months old, a hold of up to 10 business days may be placed.

If you do not receive any verification deposits, please double check that you've supplied the correct information and then resend the verification request.
