Mobile Deposit

Save yourself a trip to the bank and deposit your check using your smartphone. Snap a photo of the front and back of your endorsed check and that’s it. It’s convenient, secure and best of all, it’s free!1

Effective September 15, 2018, members using Mobile Deposit will be required to endorse their check with their signature and write “For mobile deposit only to MIDFLORIDA Credit Union” on the back. Without the proper endorsement, the check will be rejected.

Mobile Deposit Troubleshooting Tips

If the "cannot read check" error message displays, try the following:

  • When capturing the image of the check:
    • Make sure all 4 corners of the check are visible and limit the area around the check
    • Smooth the check (no bent corners)
    • Make sure the check is in focus and well lit
    • Lay a blank, dark paper under the check as a “border” to help provide a better image
    • Ink other than blue or black may not be readable
  • Close out of all apps
  • Clear your phone's cache and cookies

If the phone screen turns black, or if the MIDFLORIDA app closes unexpectedly, this is caused by lack of storage. We recommend trying the following:

  • Close out of all apps
  • Clear your phone's cache and cookies
  • Delete photos/videos or move them to the cloud

Please note that the following checks cannot be deposited via mobile deposit:

  • Money Orders
  • Checks that require special endorsement
  • Checks payable to a third party (the payee name must match the name on the account)
  • Checks that require verification through an authorization number (Ex: Comdata Check)
