That's why we've partnered with Plaid®, a leading financial tech company that provides secure connections between you and your financial apps.
What is Plaid®?
Plaid® acts as a secure data bridge between your MIDFLORIDA accounts and over 8,000 different financial apps and services – like Venmo, Acorns, or Expensify. Our new feature allows you to view which apps powered by Plaid® are connected to your MIDFLORIDA accounts (If connected apps use a platform other than Plaid®, they will not show in MIDFLORIDA's online banking). What truly sets this partnership apart is your control.
- Make Informed Decisions: Choose what information you share with confidence, knowing you can adjust permissions at any time.
- Maintain Visibility: See a clear list of all connected apps powered by Plaid® and the specific data they can access.
- Revoke Access: You can simply remove account access to apps you no longer use at any time.

How to set up Plaid®
To see what apps or services are connected via Plaid®, tap the gear icon in the mobile app, and select Security > Security Settings. Any connections will be shown next to the checkbox for Plaid. On desktop, select Security under the Profile tab.
