Gift of Reading

MIDFLORIDA began its Gift of Reading program in 2006, sending volunteers to kindergarten classrooms across central Florida to read to students and instill a passion for books. Every year, volunteers read a preselected book to each class, then present a copy of the book to each student, teacher and to the school's media center.

MIDFLORIDA / Rebecca Keith Scholarship

Since 2000, MIDFLORIDA has given more than $800,000 to students in Polk and Highlands Counties to fund college tuition through the MIDFLORIDA  / Rebecca Keith Scholarship. If you're in high school and a credit union member, you may be eligible to apply for this program.
