Questions About Your Debit Card

MIDFLORIDA contactless debit cards can be issued instantly at most MIDFLORIDA branches, or for existing checking account holders, a card can be requested by contacting the Help Desk. To have a card mailed can take 7-10 business days, or 10-14 days for an international address.

To sign up, look for the Smart Save link on your checking account details page or visit the My Cards section within Online Banking.

The Automatic Billing Updater service will automatically update old card numbers with merchants who keep your card on file, so payments can process without interruption or action from you.

You may opt out of the service to keep your card from automatically updating.

Because your card is so valuable, be sure to contact us as soon as you realize your card is missing. We're available 24/7 for you to report a lost or stolen debit card or suspicious activity using your debit card. Call our Help Desk at (863) 688-3733 or toll-free at (866) 913-3733.

To help prevent fraud, MIDFLORIDA employs a service to watch for debit card activity which may not match your normal purchasing pattern. As a result, there are occasions, where you will need to be reached to confirm card activity. If you cannot be reached, the use of your card may be impacted. To avoid having your card blocked, make sure that we have your correct contact information by calling the Help Desk, update the information in online banking or visit a branch.

We're available 24/7 to help you report the issue and begin the dispute process. Once reported, our team will review the activity, secure your account, and guide you through the steps to dispute any unauthorized transactions.

A debit card requires a checking account for access to all purchasing features. Debit cards issued on savings accounts cannot participate in rewards programs, and can only be used for payments at point-of-sale locations that accept a PIN or at an ATM to access cash.
