Join us for our 69th Annual Meeting of our members.
In addition to general business, the election of Board of Directors for 2022 will occur.
The following candidates have been selected by the nominating committee:
CHRISTOPHER GEIGER 3-year term
Christopher is the Director of Internal Audit at Lockheed Martin, an aerospace and defense company with 114,000 employees and $60B in annual revenue. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer, a Certified
Information System Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Internal Auditor, and a Board Leadership
Fellow with the National Association of Corporate Directors. His volunteering in the credit union movement has included over a decade on the Supervisory Committee, eight years on an Asset Liability Management Committee and seven years on the Board of Directors.
DARRELL JENSEN 3-year term
Darrell has served on MIDFLORIDA’s Board of Directors for nine years and on the Supervisory Committee for fourteen years. He is a graduate of Webber College, holds an M.B.A. from Florida Southern College and is a Florida-licensed Certified Public Accountant. Darrell is currently pursuing his Doctorate at Southeastern University in Lakeland.
NICK SUDZINA 3-year term
In 1991, Nick began his service with the credit union. He is employed as the Trial Court Administrator for the Tenth Judicial Circuit. Nick holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is a volunteer for Hospice, is active with the Lakeland Runners Club and is an Advisory Board Member with InnerAct Alliance. He also helps direct the Red Ribbon Kids Fun Run for InnerAct Alliance.
DON WILLIAMS 3-year term
Don was a guidance counselor at Kathleen High School and retired in 1997. He began his credit union career nearly 44 years ago and is currently a director. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida A&M
University and a master’s degree from Indiana State University.
Members desiring to run for elective office are required to submit their petition for nomination to the President of the credit union by February 28, 2022. The petitions, which may be picked up at our corporate office, must be signed by a minimum of 500 members of this credit union. All members must be present at the annual meeting to exercise their voting rights. The election will not be conducted by ballot when there is only one nominee for a position.
