We're Celebrating a Milestone

Thank you, members, for 70 great years!

Building a Legacy 70-Years Strong

Our MIDFLORIDA family would like to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude to you, our members and the communities in which we serve, for your unwavering support and commitment to our credit union since 1954. Each of you play an integral part of writing our story and building our legacy.

While almost every credit union shares the story of humble beginnings, we are no different. Credit unions started with people pooling their resources together to help one another in times of need.   Thanks to our 11 founding members, we have grown from a basement office in Lakeland’s Junior High School where our first treasurer, Rebecca Keith, worked from a desk and a shoebox, to 62 branches spanning coast to coast.

All of us here at MIDFLORIDA are proud to be a part of your life story. From helping you finance your homes and cars to making life’s dreams of weddings, vacations, and retirement a reality, we strive to improve everyone’s financial well-being.  We appreciate being involved in  the communities where we have branches and to participate in countless community and charitable events and sponsorships that help make our service areas better places to live and work.

To commemorate MIDFLORIDA’s 70th anniversary, visit any branch from May 20 through May 25 to enter to win our $70 for 70 cash giveaway. See official rules below.  Branches will also host a cookie celebration on Monday, May 20.

Rest assured, we appreciate the privilege of being a leader in Florida’s financial services for the past 70 years and to be able to help you with your financial journey. Thank you for making MIDFLORIDA what it is today and what it will become in the future.
