Description:
The assistant branch manager assists the brand manager in overseeing the daily operations of the branch to ensure accurate and timely service to the membership. The assistant is responsible for the security of all cash items and the safety of the membership and employees, oversees the operations of the equipment and building, and ensures safety, compliance, and efficiency. The assistant manager takes loan applications, underwrites, audits, and closes consumer loan products, opens accounts, and cross sells credit union products and services. The assistant encourages and motivates branch personnel to meet corporate goals and fulfill MIDFLORIDA’s mission.
Requirements:
Assistant branch manager candidates must possess a minimum of 3-5 years of retail banking experience including consumer lending experience, new accounts, and cross selling. Branch manager or assistant branch manager experience is preferred. High School Diploma/GED required. Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) a plus. Lakeland market place.
